John Oates, half of the dynamic duo - Hall & Oates, co-wrote many of the Top 10 hits for the band and is their guitarist and vocalist, too.  In 2014 John was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Daryl HallBillboard magazine tapped the duo as #15 in their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and the #1 duo.  As a solo artist, John utilizes his immense talents writing and recording albums that lean towards the realm of Americana and Rhythm & Blues.  Award-winning program director Ray White catches up with John at a solo show in August of 2011 to talk about his solo band, musical interest and styles and his album during that time.  His latest CD is titled, Arkansas and draws upon his interest in Americana and Roots music.  For more information about our show, visit http://www.classicartiststoday.com
