Founded in 1975, The Motels were at the forefront of New Wave music in the late 1970's and 1980's. Lead singer, Martha Davis provided the band with a sultry style that drew a passionate following. Throughout their career, the band hit worldwide charts with their songs, over 15 times. Award-winning program director Ray White caught up with Martha before her show in August of 2015 who shared her personal thoughts about making her Beautiful Life album and new projects of the horizon. The Motels latest album - The Last Few Beautiful Days, is reminiscent of the sound that launched them to stardom. Tommy Castro crosses the boundaries of Blues, Rock and R&B music as the leader of his own band since the early 1990's. He launched his career as a member of Warner Brothers' artists The Dynatones, in the late 1980's. Winning the 2008 Blues Music Award for Entertainer of the Year, Tommy's won numerous other awards and has played with many legends including B.B. King and John Lee Hooker.
