Pure Prairie League formed in 1970 and was among the leaders of the country rock movement.  They featured awesome lead vocalists including Craig Fuller and Vince Gill.  In their heyday, they scored five consecutive Top 40 LP's.  In June of 2018, multi-award winning program director Ray White caught up backstage with co-founder John David Call, Mike Reilly and the bands current members for an impromptu interview to talk about their latest album All In Good Time, the great vocalists they've had throughout their history and favorite album from their extensive catalog.  In our showcase segment, we feature Poco's Rusty Young and Black Oak Arkansas - who just released Underdog Heroes, their first studio album in nearly 30 years.  For more information about our show, visit us at Classic Artists Today

The legendary Beach Boys throughout the years have had over 85 songs chart worldwide, the most Top 40 songs from any U.S. rock band, sold over 100 million records and received numerous other accolades.  They've also garnered 13 Grammy awards and/or nominations.  Needless to say, they are worldwide popular music icons!  Multi-award winning program director Ray White catches up with their legendary leader Brian Wilson and co-founder Al Jardine backstage before their show, in July 2012, to talk about the bands 50th Anniversary, their That's Why God Made The Radio album, and the rivalry between them and The Beatles in the 1960's.  In our Showcase Segment, we feature 9-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow, whose new album is Threads.  The legends can be found on Classic Artists Today!

David Bromberg stands out among his contemporaries as a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter.  He's played with the worlds' most talented musicians and is tapped for many of their projects.  He was nominated for a Grammy at the 50th annual Grammy Awards in 2008.  Award winning program director Ray White, caught up with David backstage, in February of 2019, to talk about his career highlights with Ringo Starr and others and also about his latest album - The Blues, The Whole Blues and Nothing But The Blues.  In our showcase segment, we feature Jesse Colin Young, who has just released Dreamers.  Also, the Stray Cats , whose latest is 40.  For more information about our show visit us at Classic Artists Today.
