Formed in 1981, 10,000 Maniacs has had 10 songs hit the charts throughout their career. For 12 years Natalie Merchant was lead vocalist for the band. Mary Ramsey took over that role, after Natalie's departure. Mary is also a classically-trained violinist and adds this talent to the group.
