Kim Simmonds formed Savoy Brown in 1965 and was one of the pioneers in the Blues Rock genre. The bands' heyday was in the early 1970's. Considered one of the premier guitarists, Kim and Savoy Brown have released nearly 50 albums throughout his career. In this tribute to Kim, who passed away on December 13, 2022, we reach back in our archives and share our April of 2007 interview with him.
