Micky Dolenz is the vocalist and drummer for a group that grew out of a TV show in the 1960's...The Monkees.   The show introduced a number of innovative, new-wave film techniques to series television and won two Emmy Awards in 1967.  The Monkees have sold more than 75 million records worldwide and had international hits.  Their latest CD, released in 2016, is Good Times. On this August of 2012 interview, award-winning host Ray White talks to Micky about his latest solo CD, Remember, the band and the passing of Davy Jones.  In our "showcase" segment, we'll feature Rod Stewart's latest project.  We're heading back to the 60's, with musicians who have been on the music scene for 50 years!  For additional information on our show visit http://www.classicartiststoday.com
