Founded in 1975, The Motels were at the forefront of New Wave music in the late 1970's and 1980's.  Lead singer, Martha Davis provided the band with a sultry style that drew a passionate following.  Throughout their career, the band hit worldwide charts with their songs, over 15 times.  Award-winning program director Ray White caught up with Martha before her show in August of 2015 who shared her personal thoughts about making her Beautiful Life album and new projects of the horizon.  The Motels latest album - The Last Few Beautiful Days, is reminiscent of the sound that launched them to stardom.  In our Showcase Segment, Steppenwolf celebrates 50 years in the music business with the release of a new box set including several unreleased songs from the vault.  For more information about our show, visit http://www.classicartiststoday.com
