The legendary brothers Johnny and Donnie Van Zant join us on a good ole Southern Rock show.  Johnny took over from his late brother Ronnie as the frontman of Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1987, while Donnie was a co-founder of .38 Special back in 1974.  With albums together as Van Zant, they added to the family legacy with dynamic Southern Rock and Country tunes.  The brothers hooked up with award-winning program director Ray White in July of 2016 to talk about their latest album Red, White and Blue (Live) and the current status with their legendary bands.  Up until his passing on October 2, 2017, Tom Petty was one of the most revered rock stars on Earth.  His legacy lives on as he's featured in our "Showcase Segment." Tom's recent posthumous release is titled An American Treasure.

The BoDeans have been going strong since forming in the mid-1980's.  Over a half dozen tunes have landed on the music charts and they have built a loyal fan base throughout the years.  In 1987, a Rolling Stone magazine readers poll tapped the BoDeans as the Best New American Band.  Award-winning program director, Ray White, catches up with BoDean's frontman Kurt Newmann in May of 2018, to talk about their latest album - Thirteen, and about working with some of the top recording producers in the industry.  In our "showcase segment" we feature the long-time singer for Journey - Steve Perry, who's released his first solo album in nearly 25 years titled Traces.
