At the top of the album-oriented rock charts during the 1970's you'd find the band Kansas.  They appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the '70's and 80's.  On this June of 2010 interview, the CAT's Ray White spends times with Kansas guitarist Richard Williams, who has been with the band since their debut album was released in 1974.  Rich shares  his insights into the 35th anniversary of the band, that features the release of their live CD/DVD - There's Know Place Like Home.  Kansas' recent album is The Prelude Implicit, their first studio release in 16 years.  Our showcase band on this episode is Mike and the Mechanics, who were formed by Genesis' co-founder Mike Rutherford in 1985.  Their latest release - Let Me Fly, is their eighth studio album.
