Peter Mayer has been a member of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band since 1989 as lead guitarist and background vocalist.  He's co-written many songs with Jimmy throughout the years too!  Also an accomplished musician with his own band, Peter's released 25 albums throughout the years with his latest being Songs For Birds.  Multi-award winning program director Ray White hooked up backstage with Peter in December of 2022 to talk about his early career success when he had a chart-landing single with PM, working with Jimmy Buffett and insights on his latest release.  Hear more from Jimmy and his bandmates on Episodes 39 and 142.  In our showcase segment we honor the legendary Canadian singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot, who passed away on May 1, 2023.   Gordon helped define the folk/pop sound of the 1960's and 1970's.  His last album was Solo, released in 2022.  Jumping right into Spring in this breezin' episode from your friends at the CAT!!
